2. Most of these images display "moody" lighting that gives the composition more emotion and meaning. Most of these photographers also used a black and white format for their compositions so their subject is more prevalent, rather than the color becoming a distraction.

3. In the first image there is an 8-ball which means game over when playing pool. In the second photo there are children. In the third photo there is an old man trying to escape death. In the fourth photo there is a small child holding a yellow balloon on the beach posing as the sun. I the fifth photo there is a dead leaf hanging onto a branch for dear life.

The people in this photo appear to be a mother and son who are taking a stroll down the beach. The son has a balloon is his hand which might mean that they just came from the boardwalk.
